Chapter 15

You turn and bolt for the exit!

You make it halfway there before pain erupts in your lower back. You trip over your own feet and fall sideways, slamming painfully into a chair on the way down. A moment later the agony in your back redoubles as you feel something being slowly pulled out of you.

You blink up at Naema as she once again shimmers into view standing over you, bloody dagger in one hand. In the other, a ball of blue fire burns bright and sinister.

Coherent thought leaves you as your world erupts into a hellscape of blue flames…
